BOSTON

(Just arrived in Boston! Looking tired)

Last thursday we went to Boston with Misi's 3 brothers and mom & dad to visit Misi's uncle. We left Thursday night around 10:30 pm so we could catch a 6:00 am flight out of Dallas. It was a three hour drive to Dallas, so we figured we'd get a head start so we arrived on time. After a couple hours in the airport four of us got on the 6 o'clock flight, Misi and Sini waited until 7:30 for their flight. We got into Boston and caught a bus to the town of Quincy, which is where Misi's uncle lived, and where we were staying. His uncle and son Mike picked us up at the bus stop and took us to their house. The weather was beautiful. It didn't get hot, and we stayed outside almost the whole time we were there. We ended up ordering pizza on Friday for lunch/snack, and sat around and talked for a few hours, swam, played a little basketball, and just relaxed. We got to meet all of the kids, 3 boys and 1 girl. They were so nice, and we have a really good time getting to know them. They also definitely made sure we didn't go hungry!

On Saturday we woke up, and went back over to their uncles, we again sat outside for a while, talking and playing. Then misi's uncle drove us to the Patriots stadium. It was huge! We walked around and took pictures, checked out the pro-shop, and unfortunaltely didn't get to meet any players. We did try to walk directly infront of the stadium to get a better picture, and this crazy lady who was so called security came out of no where and told us we couldn't go any further and weren't aloud to take pictures where we wanted to. Made me kind of mad, but oh well.

After we got pictures of the stadium and practice facility we headed back to the house, and I believe we ate again. This time they bought a bunch of hamburgers and hotdogs and bbq'd them. Me, Misi, and Sini snuck off to the Cheese Cake Factory and ordered some cheese cake because I just had to have one :) Later that night, all of Uncle's sons had a show somewhere by a beach. They are in a band and do shows every now and then. They're really good, I got to listen to them practice while they were at home. I didn't get to go to the show, because you had to be 21 and older just to get in, but it was ok-Misi stayed back with me which I thought was really nice of him!

Sunday we did a little bit of sight seeing before we went home. Uncle drove us to Plymouth rock. The rock was all covered up because they were doing construction, but Misi snuck around the back and got a picture of where the rock was. It was surrounded by boards but hey, that was good enough for us. We also got to see the Mayflower II, which was the Mayflower just an exact replica of it. It was a fun little town. There were many old buildings, and people even dressed up as pilgrims. We had a good time there in Plymouth. We headed back home after a couple of hours, and again got home and ate again. They had grilled steak tips (which were way yummy) and everything else you can think of. That night we all got together and just talked. We talked until about 3 in the morning. It was a lot of fun.

Around 4:15 am, me, Misi & Sini got up and caught a bus to the airport. We had to get home for work and school so the others stayed back. We didn't catch the 6am flight, or the 9 & 10 o'clock flights, so we tried again at 9pm. We didn't get on that flight either! It was a very long day, and we were exhausted. We got the Subway from the airport to the house about 3 times. It was crazy. Finally, Tuesday morning we made it on the 6am flight. I made it home just in time for my Doctors appointment!

Boston was a fun trip. It was good to meet family I had never met before. They treated us very well, and we definitely want to go back!
