FOOTBALL
It is officially football season, and we are pretty excited. I definitely love the atmosphere of a football game. The Aggies here in Aggieland have their first football game tomorrow...and we are excited to watch them play. Ican't forget to mention back home, BYU is playing as well...we will be rooting for both teams. Hopefully we will have some good new about Misi and his football career. We have waited for quite a while but know that is is for a good reason, and will only bless our lives. Good luck to Mykelle this weekend as she plays in her tournament. We look forward to hearing how things went.

Lake Bryan
Last Saturday Misi and I went with on of my co-workers (Ben) and his girl-friend to Lake Bryan, which we found out was about 6 miles from where we live. They brought their boat along with some fun water toys (wakeboard, tube, skies). We had a blast. I even wakeboarded, which I was completely safe. Don't worry mom, I didn't crash or use my stomach muscles. It was a very needed day for both of us, we need some stress relief. Misi skied and tubed. It was somewhat hard to pull him up on the wakeboard with a weak boat! haha, no offense to Misi though. I got sunburned on my back which is typical. Thanks to my dad for the white skin.
Same Old Same Old
So far for the month of August, not much has changed. Misi ended up not passing one of his classes and was unable to graduate. We weren't very happy with the Professor, he was very rude and unwilling to help him out. So, I've been working and misi has been working on getting into his online class and finish getting ready for football.
Baby Update
Everything has continued to look really good. I went in on the 19th and we were able to hear the heart beat. Makes it seem even more real when you hear that. I have just started to get some sort of pooch. It's the kind where you look like you've had too many french fries, rather than looking pregnant. My time will come, I know. We should find out in September what we are having. We are excited to see what the gender will be, and need to start thinking of some names!

Happy Birthday to Whitnee
It was finally my 21st Birthday on July 20th. It was a great day...sure didn't feel like a different day, but I enjoyed it. Misi got me some surprise birthday presents, even though he knows I don't like him getting me things. He took care of me and made sure I had a good day. He even woke up early that morning (Sunday morning) and made me a good breakfast. Later that day Misi's mom made a dinner, and we had cake and ice cream!

4th of July
I guess I can start with the 4th, since that's what I have pictures of. We woke up around 1o and went to the George Bush Library just because it was free admition that day. It was really neat. There was SO much history we couldn't get enough. They even had a huge chunk of the Berlin wall which I thought was pretty cool. We took a couple pictures of the wall while we were there. They had some amazing replicas of the White House which was also pretty incredible. Afterward we went to a park in Bryan and BBQ'd with the Vakalahi's and Tufuga family. We were there all day, just sitting around, eating and sometimes getting up to throw a football around. It was a ton of fun and we were thrilled to get out and enjoy the Texas sun. After a long day at the park, we headed over to the Bright Football Complex to watch the 'amazing' firework show of College Station. It was alright. The entire time Prince and I swore that Utah fireworks were way better. What do we know? Here are a few of the pictures we took!

Delay
I'm sorry that it has been such a long time since we have posted on the blog. Most of you don't know, but we don't have the Internet where we live. It's very hard not having the Internet but we are getting by. I'm just going to do a quick update of what we did this weekend, and then hopefully next time I get to a computer I will bring my camera and post all of the events that went on for the month of July.
This last weekend we moved out of the rental house, and into an apartment. We moved about fifteen minutes away from where we were; from College Station to Bryan, both still in Texas for those who may be wondering. We really wore ourselves out on the move, too. With the temp. in the hundreds, and 80% humidity, it was extremely hot and uncomfortable. We got it all done, and that's what really counts.
Misi graduates this weekend. He has finals and Wednesday and Thursday, so we sure hope he does well and passes the classes. We will wait and here back from the agent this weekend about football updates. The agent has been working hard, and is going to try and get him on a practice team, so there is still hope!
As for myself, I am still working for the Chiropractor. I still feel great, haven't been sick or had any major problems with the pregnancy. I still forget that I am even pregnate, but I'm sure that is bound to change when I start to grow. The last ultrasound we went to went really well. The doctor said the baby was looking good, and healthy. I do have to say that I got kind of nervous when the doctor started to point out what parts of the body were what. He showed me where the head was, and I thought it looked a little bit big for my liking. So, that is definitely a Misi trait!
I will try really hard to get some pictures on here. Sorry that it has taken so much time!

Scammers
This past weekend, Misi and I almost experienced a tragedy. I'm almost too embarrassed to admit that we did it, but a good lesson was learned. While I was at work, working-and yet not, I came accross an add for a car. They were only asking for $5000 for a 2005 Camry. I got pretty excited because we are trying to find a new car and I thought that it was it! We began e-mailing this so called 'car owner' to figure out more information. He gave himself a profile, said how we should deliver the money, the car would be shipped and we'd be on our way! To our dismay, we paid the money, and things started getting weird. I called my mom and dad and let them know what was up and had them start the invesitgation. After much discomfort and intense searching, we found out that we were indeed being scammed. Thankfully, we got our money out just in time, and have never felt so blessed and relieved in our entire lives. It's quite funny, and now we joke about finding this guy and letting him have it where it hurts, however, we learned a valuable lesson: Never trust anyone on the Internet. Thank you mom and dad for helping us out, and dad, if you really wanna get this guy, we're right behind ya!
Howdy!!
Well, Im pretty excited that the first summer session just ended but the bad news is that the secon session just started today. I am taking POLS 207 and AG SALES 315 its pretty much the last two classes before graduating so I'm pretty happy for it to be over. Yesterdays family home evening was pretty fun, we all went to the movies then to the gym to play volleyball. It was funny cause right when we showed up to play volleyball everyone just left, we had no clue why everyone left. Maybe cause sini, whitnee, and prince hit the ball to hard dont know!! Tonight should be another fun night because we are playing volleyball again.

BOSTON
Last thursday we went to Boston with Misi's 3 brothers and mom & dad to visit Misi's uncle. We left Thursday night around 10:30 pm so we could catch a 6:00 am flight out of Dallas. It was a three hour drive to Dallas, so we figured we'd get a head start so we arrived on time. After a couple hours in the airport four of us got on the 6 o'clock flight, Misi and Sini waited until 7:30 for their flight. We got into Boston and caught a bus to the town of Quincy, which is where Misi's uncle lived, and where we were staying. His uncle and son Mike picked us up at the bus stop and took us to their house. The weather was beautiful. It didn't get hot, and we stayed outside almost the whole time we were there. We ended up ordering pizza on Friday for lunch/snack, and sat around and talked for a few hours, swam, played a little basketball, and just relaxed. We got to meet all of the kids, 3 boys and 1 girl. They were so nice, and we have a really good time getting to know them. They also definitely made sure we didn't go hungry!
On Saturday we woke up, and went back over to their uncles, we again sat outside for a while, talking and playing. Then misi's uncle drove us to the Patriots stadium. It was huge! We walked around and took pictures, checked out the pro-shop, and unfortunaltely didn't get to meet any players. We did try to walk directly infront of the stadium to get a better picture, and this crazy lady who was so called security came out of no where and told us we couldn't go any further and weren't aloud to take pictures where we wanted to. Made me kind of mad, but oh well.
After we got pictures of the stadium and practice facility we headed back to the house, and I believe we ate again. This time they bought a bunch of hamburgers and hotdogs and bbq'd them. Me, Misi, and Sini snuck off to the Cheese Cake Factory and ordered some cheese cake because I just had to have one :) Later that night, all of Uncle's sons had a show somewhere by a beach. They are in a band and do shows every now and then. They're really good, I got to listen to them practice while they were at home. I didn't get to go to the show, because you had to be 21 and older just to get in, but it was ok-Misi stayed back with me which I thought was really nice of him!
Sunday we did a little bit of sight seeing before we went home. Uncle drove us to Plymouth rock. The rock was all covered up because they were doing construction, but Misi snuck around the back and got a picture of where the rock was. It was surrounded by boards but hey, that was good enough for us. We also got to see the Mayflower II, which was the Mayflower just an exact replica of it. It was a fun little town. There were many old buildings, and people even dressed up as pilgrims. We had a good time there in Plymouth. We headed back home after a couple of hours, and again got home and ate again. They had grilled steak tips (which were way yummy) and everything else you can think of. That night we all got together and just talked. We talked until about 3 in the morning. It was a lot of fun.
Around 4:15 am, me, Misi & Sini got up and caught a bus to the airport. We had to get home for work and school so the others stayed back. We didn't catch the 6am flight, or the 9 & 10 o'clock flights, so we tried again at 9pm. We didn't get on that flight either! It was a very long day, and we were exhausted. We got the Subway from the airport to the house about 3 times. It was crazy. Finally, Tuesday morning we made it on the 6am flight. I made it home just in time for my Doctors appointment!
Boston was a fun trip. It was good to meet family I had never met before. They treated us very well, and we definitely want to go back!

Big News
I guess now would be a good time to annonce we are going to have a baby. We found out a few weeks ago that I was expecting and I cried for a little bit because I didn't know what I was going to do. Thank goodness for Misi's blessing because it calmed me down right away. Heavenly Father just works in mysterious ways, and now is our time I guess. We are pretty excited, especially Misi. He has been waiting a long time to be a Dad. I went to the Dr. yesterday and they said everything was going great and the baby seems to be healthy!
Misi is still going to school. He is finishing up with summer school and graduating in August. He's been pretty busy with homework. We just switched his agents for football and are very excited for the new guy. He seems so be on the ball with everything, and will inform us this weekend what he's found out. As for me, I'm just working part time for a Chiropractor. Can't wait until we figure out when we're gonna get out of Texas and move on. I've been ready for a while now. We just got back from Boston, MA so I will do another post with pictures in a couple days!
