We decided to go on a little family run...so we packed the girls up and went...and we couldn't leave until we took a picture.

Later that night we went to Nana and Papa's house to exchange gifts with Dalton and Mykelle...and we also did our people gifts. Best wrapped will go to Britton, who had Tiffany.

And because I love you Kallan, this picture made my blog! Hands off!! :)

Christmas was SO good to us this year. It was a little different since it landed on a Sunday, but it honestly made the day that much better! We had to wake everyone up around 7:45. Paalo didn't fall asleep until about 12:30am...so she wasn't a very happy girl when we were waking her up. After a little bribing that Santa had come, she finally came out into the living room with us to see what Santa had brought! She was a little shy at first...but then jumped right in and knew just what to do with her kitchen! We opened presents for about 45 minutes and then had to hurry and get ready for church.

After church we went back home to finish up presents, then to Grandma Frei's for breakfast, to Grandma Vicki's for presents, back to mom and dad's, and then finally around 5 o'clock we headed back home to spend the rest of the time with Misi's family. The girls were pretty exhausted by the end of the day but both did great! We felt that we were given so much this year, and like all years, were VERY grateful for the wonderful family that we have. And especially to our wonderful Grandparents who do so much for us and are such an example! Thank you to ALL of our family for a beautiful Christmas this year.

We had the annual Christmas Eve program, which turned out great! The kids were excited to see santa and did a great job singing their songs. Paalo loves her cousin's Kannon and Kelton (who she calls Robert when she forgets his name!) Paalo is always so excited to see and play with the twins, and they are always so good to Paalo!

Paalo was such a big girl this year! She was SO nervous to sit on Santa's lap, and she actually screamed a little bit before we went up, but once we got up there I put her on the stage and pushed her towards him and she went to him and sat on his lap! She was so happy that she did it, and so was I!

After the program we went to Grandma Vick's to open pajama's....

...and then the kids modeled for us and let us TRY to take a decent picture...

....at least they all got in one picture!

Later that night Misi and Kallan had to run back to our house to get some presents and Misi forgot to take our garage opener...so Kallan had to squeeze through the only window open! Pretty dang funny!

We took the girls to the park after Misi played basketball at the Rec. Tali loved the swing!

Later that night I took the girls to my parents ward Christmas Party while Misi was on a transport. They invited Paalo to sing with the primary...she was front and center, and was turned around the whole time watching the kids sing. After the program they had a dancing...Paalo got to dance with Wyatt.

We had a blast in Phoenix for Thanksgiving this year! Sue and Randy were amazing hosts and we loved being together with the fam. These are the only pictures that we took of the whole weekend. While we were bowling. I will be getting the rest of the photos from Sue and putting them on later.

These two sisters absolutely LOVE each other. Paalo is an amazing big sister who loves Tali SO much. Tali always gets really giddy and happy whenever Paalo is around. Whenever they do anything together, Paalo insists that we take a picture. And we do. I love them both SO much:)

Tali is getting SO big! She had her 6 month appointment this week and weighed 17 pounds. She was 76th percentile for her weight, and 96 percentile for height. She is a smiley baby, loves to play on her tummy, loves her bunny, giggles and laughs at her sister Paalo, and loves we loved and cuddled. She is pretty mellow and doesn't seem to mind when her big sister picks her up and carries her around!

Here are a few funny things palo has been saying lately. She is ALWAYS saying something funny and I tend to forget to record it so I'm trying to get better. Yes for you Jadon. It's so fun to watch her grow up. Tali is growing up just as much! She's now found her toes, likes to talk, LOVES her sister Palo (most of the time) and is the sweetest baby. We sure can't get enough of our girls :)

I was washing Palo in the bath, she came up to me and gave me a hug, while patting my back said, "I know, it's ok."
4/18/2011 We were having family home evening teaching Palo about Nephi and his family. I would ask her simple question's and she would repeat what answer we gave. We told her who Nephi's mom and dad's names were, just as simple as I could make if for a two year old. Her attention was in and out of the conversation, but after a minute she stopped me mid sentence and said "Otay mom, I know."
This is what my mom wrote while I was in the hospital with Tali. My mom and dad took care of Palo for us, which she had SUCH a good time at nanna's house! As a side note, when this picture came into my email from Patti, I was downloading it. Palo said, "what are you doing?"
I said, "downloading a picture of Uncle Jadon."
I had no sooner got Uncle Jadon out of my mouth and she said, "OH! I LOVE him!!" It was SO DANG CUTE!!! Then she said she was tired, so I told her we were going to go home and have a bath and go to bed. Again, she quickly said, "Oh! NAP PARTY!!" I was just cracking up. We had a "nap party" early in the day when Nana had to take her home so she could nap. It was a great day with Palo. Glad Uncle Jadon got to share for a minute in the day!
June 16, 2011 I just love my 2 year old. I was playing Words With Friends on the Ipod and was thinking out loud. I blurted out "What am I supposed to do with 5 E's!?" Palo immediately replied, "Bad day mom."
July 12, 2011 We were playing a family game of hide-and-seek. It was my turn to hide. Palo was looking for me, and when she looks for you, she will always ask where you are. Palo: "Mom, are you in there? Mom are you in there? Mommy are you in my room? (while opening and closing the closet door to her room) Mom are you in there? Dang it, nobody in there!"
August 4, 2011 I was telling Palo is was time to put Tali down for a nap- Palo:"Mom, why?!" Me: "Because she needs to take a nap." Palo: "Mom, don't put her asleep!" Me: "Why?" Palo: "Because I love her!"
October 13, 2011 Palo came up to me and told me that she needed some oil for her tummy. "Mom, my tummy hurts" *pause* "I been working out, I need some oil on my tummy."
October 13, 2011 Palo was talking to my mom on the phone letting her know that we needed a ride to her house. My mom asked her if she took for nap already? "Yeah, I took a big nap. When I woke up my mommy said 'HEY go back to bed!'"

Funny story...Misi couldn't find his debit card and we looked all over the house looking for it. I saw Palo take it off the table but thought she was taking it to her dad. As we were searching for the card and kept asking Palo where she put daddy's card and she was take us to random places. After a little searching I turned to her and said "Palo, where did you put the money and card? Where did you hide it?" She immediately walked over to the dresser and points under the DVD player......

Lifts the DVD player up to show us.....

.....that the card and money were underneath it.

And then right after she put them in her "pockets" (if she doesn't have pockets everything goes into her underwear)

We had a good laugh. Here she is saying "HAHAHA dad, I got you!"

Here are some random pictures of the girls, and lots of them! They're both growing up so fast, and we are loving every second of them! Palo's talking up a storm! She has something to say ALWAYS. She's into copy-cat mode and likes to copy what we say and do. She's still my biggest helper with Tali, and loves her sister very much. I'm helping coach volleyball at the college and she is now my gym rat. Tali is our smiley one. She's always smiling at us. She's such a sweet baby and is pretty ticklish.

Our little Tali is such sweet baby. She has been a very content baby! She loves to sleep, and loves to eat, doesn't like her tummy, loves bath time, smiles all the time, loves to watch Paalo, holds her head up, and tries so hard to talk! We love everything about our Tali and love watching her grow and learn each day!

Oh how I love this age! Palo has the cutest little voice, and says the silliest things ALL the time! Her favorite thing right now is playing hide-and seek. She will go and hide (usually under a blanket) and tell us to count. Once we're done counting, we HAVE to say ready or not, here we come! She is so funny because when we're looking for her we'll say "Palo, where are you?" and she will reply "I'm in my room!" It's pretty funny because she will always answer and tell us where she's at.
She loves her sister Tali, and is always trying to help me or love on her. She's a lot stronger then she realizes, and her hugs are usually a tight squeeze around Tali's neck. She will randomly come up to Tali and say "hi sweetie sweetie." She copy's a lot of what I do, and calls her sweetie, and honey all the time. When Tali's crying she will say "you're okay sweetie." It's pretty darn cute!
We have had more than one episode of Palo picking up Tali. Poor Tali is squeezed to death every time. I have to watch Palo very closely because once I turn around she usually wants to pick her up.
Palo still loves to "phwim" like a big girl and gets so excited to tell us that she swam all by herself!
Palo definitely has her 2 year old moments. She has started to fake cry at times...which can be pretty frustrating and sometimes funny.
She loves to play with her "Tousin's" (cousins) and will randomly ask where they are.
Lately, after I tell her something, she will say "What you say mom?" I will answer, and she will ask me "What you say mom" about five more times to make sure she heard it very clear I'm guessing.
She is starting to get quite the imagination. She loves playing with her dolls and stuffed animals and talking to them.
There is nothing like this age! I love watching her learn and grow, and especially love the laughter she brings into our home.

Unfortunately, Misi's dad had a sudden turn in his health and had to be in the hospital for a couple of weeks. While he was there we were blessed to have ALL of Misi's brothers together again. It has been a couple of years since they were all together. We were sad about the circumstances with Misi's dad, but very grateful everyone was able to come for love and support! Palo had such a good time being with her uncles and cousins. She followed her cousin Bubba (who lives in Hawaii) everyone, and loved playing with him!

{July 5}

It was a night to remember for these two love birds. After dinner at Applesbee's, Dalton drove mykelle to a lookout spot on the red hill to propose to Mykelle. We were all there, hiding, and waiting for their arrival. I was hiding with the flip camera to record it, my mom hid with her camera, and Tiff hid behind them with her camera. It ended up not being much of a surprise when I stuck my head out to see where they were and was caught. At least we got the whole thing on camera, seen or not! We are very happy for these two and can't wait for September 9th when they tie the knot!

4th of July

Our 4th ended up being pretty fun! We spent the weekend with both families and of course, the pool. We swam and hung out during the day, had a BBQ and then drove up on airport road to watch the fireworks. We lost our camera Monday night while watching the fireworks, so unfortunately I don't have any pictures of the event.

We can't get enough of the pool! Palo loves to go swim, now that she can do it all by herself (and her floaties.) It's been so much fun for me to watch her swim around like a big girl. She definitely doesn't have a fear of the pool and will get in the middle of all the boys!

The boys had a lot of fun having chicken fights, and then decided to see how high they could go!

This is usually what happens! You lose track of time and next thing you know you've hit another mile stone. We sure love our little Tali. She's a very good baby! She still eats about every 2-3 hours and it starting to stay awake more during the day. When she's awake she's a happy baby, and still lets her sister Palo love on her! And for fun, a couple pictures of Palo doing what she loves best!

Tali turned a week on June 10! I forget how fast time flies, and before you know it your babies are all grown up! We are trying VERY hard to soak up every moment of our little one. She has been such a good baby for us, and has been a trooper having an older sister love on her ALL the time!

We were blessed to have another beautiful baby girl on June 3, 2011! She was born at 9:13am and weighed 7lbs 1oz. This delivery was fabulous, and went very smoothly! I was so lucky to have had little complications, and even more lucky to have had a healthy baby! We are in LOVE with Tali, and can't get enough of her. Palo has been a good big sister. She had a hard time at first, not wanting anyone to hold he baby and would cry when people would take her. She's had a little bit of jealous issues since she doesn't have mom to herself, but that too is getting better!

For Memorial Day weekend we were VERY lucky to make a quick trip to Lake Powell, thanks to the amazing Parry family. We had such a good time and felt VERY spoiled. Palo loved every minute of the lake. She had such a good time playing with all of the kids, and just loved to be outside. This was Misi's first time to Lake Powell which made it even more fun. He couldn't believe how pretty it was and had a really good experience for his first time!

Our little mama is quite the character! I thought I'd share a few quick facts about her!
She knows all her ABC's, and can count to 20.
She still loves to go with dad to 'run with the guys'
She's obsessed withe her auntie's and uncle's. She loves them all SO much and cries when we have to leave them.
She is very kind and polite. She will always say 'Thanks, mom!'
She does very well around other people and is a total social bug. Once she gets warmed up to them she will talk their ear off, showing them her owie's or something she can do.
She loves to sing and knows SO many songs. I always get surprised when we're driving in the car and she starts to sing with the radio.
She is SO excited to be a Big Sister. People always ask where her sister is and she will always say 'In mommy's tummy!'
She will ask me if my tummy is ok, and then tell me 'It's ok mom. You're ok.'
When my tummy hurts she will rub it for me. She is always so sweet and concerned that I'm feeling well.
She likes to tell Misi and I that she loves us...and is always willing to give us hugs. I love this about her.
She's become a pro at daddy's 'Ipod' and asks to play on it all day long. It's amazing how fast she caught on to running it.
Palo is such a kind little bug and we love her so much. It's a matter of minute/days and she'll have a sister and we know that she's going to be a BIG helper. How blessed we are to have beautiful, healthy children come into our lives!

Here are some random pictures of Palo! She has quite the personality!
Palo is still our little love bug. She's always giving us hugs and kisses. Randomly throughout the day she will come up to me with her arms stretched out and say "G'me hug. G'me kiss" and always says I love you.
She loves to visit the animals by my mom's house...she likes to ask us what the horse and cows say.
She started to ask us "What's your name." When we tell her mommy, or daddy, she will just say 'Oh.'
She LOVES playing with her friends. Whenever we see kids anywhere she always tells me they are her friends.
She can't wait to go swimming! She asks to swim every time we drive by the pool.
She's still an awesome eater. There isn't much she doesn't like.
Palo does have her fair share of tantrums, but they don't last long, and once she's done she will ask me "Mom, are you happy? I'm happy!"
She loves being outside and still enjoys going with her dad to train the 'guys.'
We can't get enough of this girl. We know she's going to be the best big sister in about a month!

Grandma Vicki gave Palo this CUTE skirt, that she refers to has her 'Princess skirt'. She loves to play in it and spin around. While we were at my grandma's store trying it on I asked Palo if she wanted to take the skirt off, she immediately replied, 'No, shake my booty.'

Jadon's Farewell/Jak's party

Jadon's farewell was on Sunday and he did a beautiful job. We are so proud of Jadon and will miss him very much...especially his voice! :) We know he is exactly where he needs to be, surving the Lord, and can't wait to see and hear all that he accomplishes while serving in Riverside!

25 Months

(February 21)

This age is definitely an adventure! It's been SO much fun having a TWO year old...but also has new challenges.

Palo is now talking all the time. Some of the things she comes up with are pretty entertaining.

She still loves Barney and knows all the songs.

She will sing the 'I Love You Song' and likes me to hold her hand and sway while she sings it.

She know's her ABC's, colors, and can count to 20 only needing help pronouncing numbers at the end.

She is still obsessed with her uncles. She cries whenever we leaves them.

Still eats all the time. Her favorite foods right now vary-but she loves cereal and fruit.

The other day she was playing with her doll and stroller, the doll fell out and she immediately said..."Oh, gosh. Dang."

She is a total social bug and LOVES kids. Whenever she see's kids she always tells me she wants to go play. She doesn't seem to have a hard time making friends.

She loves to color and is learning to write the letter P.

Loves to go the the gym and always wants to play ball.
She knows the entire Justin Bieber song 'Baby-O'

Is every independent and wants to try everything on her own. She will say 'I help you' whenever she wants to do something on her own.

Loves to dance to Just Dance on the Wii and is pretty good and keeping up with the actions.

She has good manners-will say excuse me, please and thank you when needed.
She loves going to the park and swinging...we obviously have a hard time leaving now.
Palo is a little fireball, she knows how to get her way! But she is very kind and loving too, which we love.

Palo never fails to amaze us. It's so much fun to listen and to communicate with her. We are in LOVE with the way she talks and interacts.

It was a gorgeous day today, so Palo and I decided to go with dad to the football field to run around while he practiced. I'm SO glad we did! Palo was in heaven running around with all the kids, and the best part of all she was finally getting dirty...which hasn't happened in long time!

My Palo is 2 years old today! I can not believe we've made it this far!
Palo is saying and doing new things EVERY day! And we love it!
She LOVE'S to sing! A Lot!
She will make up her own music and words
Or just sing the ABC's, Twinkle Twinkle, and Itsy Bitsy Spider.
She is still obsessed with her uncles and wants play with them all the time.
She still loves watching Barney,
It's become part of her morning routine.
She loves to eat, and has always been a really good eater.
She has a sweet tooth.
She doesn't really have a favorite food, just anything that comes at snack time.
She can count to 10 on her own, and has gone as far has 14 once.
Palo is starting to get quite the imagination.
She is a bigger helper around the house and always willing to clean up her toys.
Whenever she starts to clean she will always start singing the clean-up, clean-up song.
She loves to help mommy cook.
Whenever I start to cook, she's always by my side asking to help.
Palo has always been a big lover. She loves giving kisses and hugs to everyone.
I love this about her.
She's the first person there to kiss away an owie.
She's already a champ at passing the volleyball.
And not to mention she can spike it, too!

Word's cannot express how much love we have for you Palo! Thank you for being such an inspiration, and always having a smile on your face. It has always brightened mommy and daddy's day. We love you so much, and couldn't express how grateful we are to have you in our lives forever!

Palo had another fabulous birthday this year! She started off the morning with a surprise from her favorite friends ever, Taizlee, Baylee, and Kayla. She was in heaven playing with her friends, and so excited they stopped by on her birthday. It was perfect! After that we headed out to her nana and pappa's house where she played with her uncles all day! Then finally around 6:30 when everyone arrived she had pizza, cake and ice cream, opened her presents, and then to top it all off had her own little dance party! Her uncle Kallan found the old disco ball, nana turned on 'Baby-o' and Palo danced and danced and danced! She had a blast dancing, showing off all her moves and just being in her element. And for not having a nap the entire day, she didn't ware down once!

We are SO blessed to have Palo in our lives. It's been amazing watching her learn and grow each day. We are even more blessed to have a beautiful daughterwho never fails to make us laugh, and always put a smile on our face!

Palo got nail-polish from her aunty Kel for Christmas this year.

Every time she would see Mykelle she would her nails aka 'pretty's' painted-so she got Palo her very own. She LOVES having her nails painted, and now it's turned into her wanted to paint our nails!

Misi is always a good sport, he lets her paint his, too.

Despite having an almost two year old painting our nails,

she does a really good job!

She rarely will get it on our skin

which is quite impressive :)

Christmas

Christmas came a flew by for us! We were very grateful that we had another blessed year, and best part of we were with family.

We started a little late this year at the Webster house. Everyone slept in, which was really nice for us!

It was a fun Christmas for the kids...and the adults, too:)

Palo had fun opening presents but was mostly glued to baby Jaks.

We had another fun Christmas Eve.
Started the night off with the annual Christmas Eve program.
It was Palo's first year as an angel, she didn't like it much, but I was glad she stayed on stage.

Our little monkey is growing up! We can't believe that next month she'll be TWO years old.

This is definitely a bitter-sweet moment. Lately she has been talking SO much.

We are always shocked when she says something

we have never heard before.

Lately when she gets upset (or mostly just all the time now) she well tell us to 'Stop it!' On Sunday she kept telling me to 'stop it' and I had warned her she would be taken to her

room if she kept choosing to tell me that. And she did.

So I quietly took her to her room, as I always do, and proceeded to tell her that she

could come out with she chose to stop telling mommy to stop it. (Note: whenever I send her to her room I usually tell her she can come out when she's ready to be happy. Please know I don't have to put her in her room very often.)

So a couple minutes later Palo comes out of her room to find me. She taps my leg and says

"Mom!"

"Yes, Palo."`

"I'm Happy!"

Melted me. I just love this girl.

A few other things, she can count to ten, and with our help say all her Abc's. She can do 1, 2, 3 on her own, stumbles through 4, 5, but has 6, 7. 8. 9. 10 down pretty well!

Palo sure makes her mommy and daddy proud!

THANKSGIVING

We had a wonderful thanksgiving this year. We were able to celebrate at my parents house with my dads sister and only a few of her kids were there this time.Misi's parents and brother's were also able to join us! We were just so grateful to be around family. Nobody brought a camera this year to Thanksgiving, so sadly we don't have any pictures!

Palo is such a funny girl! We are always laughing at her.

Right now she loves school buses. When ever she see's/hears one

she will yell BUS!!

She loves her 'auntie' and 'uncles' she asks me numerous times

throughout the day where they are.

She is obsessed with talking on the phone. As soon as I get on, she will immediately come over

and tell me she wants to talk.

She loves her 'Nanna's' and 'Pappa's'.

She's in love with her cousin Bubba, and wants to hold and play with him all the time.

Still loves my mom's 'Kitty Cat'.

Loves to read books. Loves watching Barney and Baby Einstein.

She loves 'amimals' and always wants to play with them.

Lately she's been singing...sometimes it doesn't sound like anything, but it sure is cute!

When something happens to her, she drops something, something falls down, etc. She will always say 'Oh, man!'

She is always talking! It's definitely a highlight of this age.

Palo loves to copycat! She likes to do what everyone else is doing.

When she gets in trouble, or knows it's time to go to bed, she will ask us if she can have 'one more minute?'

Our Happy Halloween!

We had a fun Halloween this year.

Misi was gone on a football trip, so Palo and I celebrated together.

We started off by taking the two babies,

They both looked so cute, we just couldn't get enough!

21 Months

Palo turned 21 months today! She is SO big now, and we couldn't be more in love with her!

-Palo is talking A LOT!! She will repeat anything and everything we say. She's getting better at speaking in sentences.

-Many times throughout the day she asks me where her daddy is. And Pappa and Nana.

-She absolutely loves animals...cows, horses, kitty's, dog's, and rooster's are some of her favorites.

-She slept through the night last night...a HUGE step for her.

-Still loves balls. I am always asked to 'catch' and 'throw' the ball with her.

-Loves music. Dances as soon as she hear's it.

-Loves playing with the neighbor kid's.

-Has 14 teeth and 2 more on the way.

-Weighs over 30lbs...low thirty's is our guess.

-She still wears big panties throughout the day. She will tell me when she has to go 'poddy' and will run and get on the toilet. We are still amazed at how well she is doing. It won't be long and she'll be completely potty trained!

-Loves waving to people. When she play's outside, she will always wave and say hi to cars that drive by or kids riding on their bikes.

-Loves babies. Always wants to pick them up and hold them.

We honestly can't get enough of our Palo! She is so precious to us. We can't believe how fast she is growing up, how smart she is, and how well she is learning!

We decided to join our wonderful neighborhood friends at Staheli Farm's. I knew it would not only be fun to get out with our friends, but letting Palo see all the animals she loves. We had such a good time! It was fun to see the animals, take a ride to the pumpkin patch to pick out pumpkin's, and we even enjoyed the pleasant smell of cow dump...

Lagoon

Palo and I decided to head to Salt Lake with my family for fall break. Misi was going to be gone so we figured it would be a fun get-away for us. We left Friday afternoon (my mom's birthday!) got to Salt Lake just in time to eat dinner at the Sweet Tomato. The next day we got up early and made our way to Lagoon! We had such a good time with the whole fam. Palo did pretty good, despite getting really tired late afternoon and a couple meltdowns on some rides.

We put Palo on this whale ride as soon as we walked in. She didn't really know what to think.

This was Palo's favorite ride!! She went on it quite a few times. She kept saying 'horse' and wanted to only ride the horse!

I love Mom moments. Lately our lives have been full of them...
While I was busy doing the dishes, Palo was watching Baby Einstein.
Not too far into her movie Palo wandered into the kitchen to find me with no clothes or diaper on. I asked her to show me where her diaper was and found this...

She pretty much slithered out of them. Not sure what it is, but Palo doesn't like have her diaper on. A sign? Maybe. I broke down and bought her 'big girl panties' to see if this will help her. She already goes to the bathroom on the big potty quite a bit, so I figured it was worth a try.

She loves them! I don't have her wear them all the time, but when she does she's happy. (check out that belly!) She's had a couple accidents but that's ok, it's still stinkin' cute to see her in them!

Conference weekend.

We had a low key weekend, thanks to Misi being in Canada coaching football, and me not feeling too productive. I did clean out my garage, so I felt pretty good about things. Palo and I went to my parents to watch the Sunday session of Conference. As always, it was extremely uplifting and makes me want to be the best person I can be.
It was a little difficult keeping Palo entertained, but thanks to her uncles she kept busy. We were cracking up at Kallan. He pretty much took over Palo for me. They ended up wandering into my mom's bathroom where Palo got in the bath, clothes and diaper still on, cracking up as Kallan threw toys into the tub. After the bath, uncle Kallan did her hair. Funny.
Palo is also fascinated with my mom's kitty. She picks him up and drags him all over the house. Poor thing takes it pretty well. If we take the kitty away she immediately wraps her arms and says 'hold dis'. At one point Palo had wandered off with the kitty, I didn't think anything of it until she started screaming/crying. We ran into my moms room and found she had thrown the kitty into the un-drained bath water, and was upset because it was crying and couldn't get out of the tub. Good thing cats can swim, right? Love this life!

Swiss Days!

(September 25)

We started off the day with the 5K race. We all had a good time, and we SO glad we crossed the finish line! I think most of us beat our times...thank goodness. I didn't get a side ache until the very end so I was pretty happy!

As soon as the race ended, we hurried home and got ready for the annual parade. Our theme was 'Busy Bee's' and no one was left out of the parade. Here are all the cute kids riding the the Bee Train. Palo was really only interested in the candy.

This cute little bug turned 20 months, and we couldn't be happier! I absolutely love this age. Here are a few of Palo's FAVORITE things to do:

Jump on the tramp. We can not get her off the tramp without a fight now.

Still loves to sing and dance to Justin Bieber, Baby.

Dance...a lot of dancing.

19 Months

Oops, behind again! Palo turned 19 months, and I seriously can't believe it! She's such a sassy little bug. We can't even explain how much fun she is! Right now, she is IN LOVE with watching Open Season, Signing time, and Shark Tale...and now is a Justin Bieber fan. She would listen to 'Baby O' over and over again, dancing and singing 'baby, baby, baby, oh' all day if I let her. We get such a kick out of it!

Palo also loves her stuffed animals. She takes them wherever she goes...such a good little mama.

She's still a football fan and enjoys being at the stadium with dad.

Still not the best sleeper. I'm just praying that one day, it will just hit her and BOOM, she's a good sleeper :)

She's very solid, and is almost too heavy to pick up anymore.

Still loves being outside.

Hawaii

This year we headed to Waimea, Hawaii for the Tupe Family Reunion!

(August 3)

We left for Vegas around 10:30pm to catch a red-eye flight at 2:45am. My sister and I flew together, and Misi and his two brothers didn't leave until 10 that morning. After having overweight bags, and a million carry-on bags, we made it to our gate, exhausted yet excited. Palo was given some benadryl and LOVED the airplane. When we left vegas so just starred out the windows watching the pretty lights of Las Vegas. As soon as the lights were gone and we were in the air, she layed down on my lap and fell asleep...the entire way!!

We arrived in Kona around 8am Hawaii time. Misi's brother Prince picked us up. We stopped by our cousins from Boston's rental home, then went and checked into a local Motel to get some rest. Misi arrived around 5pm, and soon after we headed to Uncle Tiva's house to meet everyone and have dinner! We crashed early. Mykelle and I figured we'd hadn't slept in over 24 hours and couldn't make it any longer.

(August 4)

We got up early, checked out of our hotel, moved our bags to Uncle Tiva's house, ate breakfast and finally got on the road around noon to tour the island. We stopped in Waipeo Valley, where they have the black sand beach, and took a few pictures at the gorgeous scenery. Not long after we made our way to Hilo to go see the volcanos. About 20 minuted away from the volcanos, Palo started to get ansty in the car and decided to cry. She cried for a while, until we finally noticed she had peed out her diaper, soacked herself and the seat. We made a quick pit stop, cleaned her up and grabbed a bite from McDonald's to help calm her down. The Volcano's were fun to look at. It's amazing how they work. We then headed back towards home, stopped at Cafe 100 for dinner, and didn't get home until about 8 o'clock. Palo had fallen asleep around 7:30 and slept until 5:30 the next morning.

(August 5)

We didn't make it to the beach until about 1pm. We swam, boogy boarded, cliff jumped, ate lots of food, tood family pictures (which ended up being quite fun after a day at the beach), and then had a very neat ceremony. At the ceremony we all threw flowers into the ocean, reminding us of our loved ones who had passed on.

(August 6)

Another Beach Day! We got to the beach around 8am, and didn't leave until have 6pm! It was a blast. We had team games/relays, played volleyball, swam, BBQ'd, and soaked up a lot of sun! Thank goodness for sunscreen. Palo did pretty darn good, too. She loved playing in the sand and water, but had definitely had enough after a couple hours. Poor thing was so exhausted! Later on, we ended up getting together for family games like Minute-to-win-it, and the Wii!!

(August 7)

Enjoyed a free day at Uncle Tiva's house. Mykelle and I ended up helping perpare the food for the family Luau which was held later that evening. Our favorite part, de-scalling and gutting the fish! The Luau was a blast, and reminds you just how fun the Tupe's are! Palo slept durning most of the Luau, but had fun dancing when she was awake.

We made it to sacrament...and then decided we were in Hawaii only one more day, and headed back to the beach. We had fun hanging out with the family later on, and were sad to say good bye.

I was hoping to have out trip to Hawaii already posted by now. But since we've been home, our computer caught a virus and we have yet to fix it. Along with that, Misi jumped right into football season so we have been fairly busy...and not to mention, our car, has engine problems AGAIN and will be needing a new home very soon or else I may have to drive it off a cliff! It's amazing how trials are what get you to start thinking about how blessed you really are. We've been dealing with car problems for a long time now, and honestly it hasn't been easy for me to stay positive about. However, good things always happen. I'm going to do my best this time to stay positive and know everything will work out and our car will be sold in no time!

I will also get our Hawaii trip up asap, and a little post about our baby who just turned 19 Months today! Wahoo

Palo likes to do whatever mom and dad are doing. It amazes me how observant kids are. Just the other day she was trying to open a bottle, and she grabbed her shirt, put it around the lid and tried opening it using her shirt. Cracked me up. I didn't know she really paid attention to this sort of stuff! Usually when she wants to do something, or wear something she'll bring it to us and say 'I want dis, I want dis'. Here are a few of her latest...trying on dad's socks! She's also really into shoes, but I haven't taken a picture of that yet.

Palo had her first major burn this month. We were at my moms hanging out while my sister did my nieces hair. We had set the straightener down once we were finished and Palo quickly reached for it, burning only her thumb. She cried for a good 4 hours. We had to keep her hand in a cup of ice to make it feel better. I felt so bad because there was nothing I could do. Thankfully by that night, the pain started to go away and she slept good the whole night!

She still manages to keep a smile, despite being hurt! Love this girl.

18 Months and 23!

(July 20)

18 Months!!

Palo turned 18 months this week. Oh how time flies! This is such a unique and amazing age. It seems like every month I say that, but now 18 months is so much more!

-She is a FAST runner

-Is always smiling

-Will copy every action we do. She loves to sing Do As I'm Doing, Popcorn, and If You're Happy and You Know It.

-She has a much bigger vocabulary and says a few sentences... 'I don't know. No, Don't, I want this, I love you, hello, apple, etc.

-She screams, a lot. Not sure what it is, but we are definitely working on this one.

-She can do 'flips' on the ground.

-She loves jumping.

-She is getting hurt ALL the time.

-She went to nursery for the first time last week and LOVED it!

-She loves to give kisses, and hugs...with a squeeze.

-She is 26 pounds and 34 inches long!

-She loves baby's, especially her cousin Jakston (below). We don't get to see him that often, but when we do she is ALL over him giving him kisses and hugs!!

(July 20)

I can't believe I turned 23. Sad to get old, but always a new adventure! I had a pretty good day. There's something about getting older where birthday's become less of a huge deal, but I still felt very loved and had a good time with family.

My amazing friends decorated my house! I sure was excited, and love these two to death!

The rest of the evening was spent at my moms...sadly this was the only picture I got of me on my birthday! My mom cooked ribs and my favorite salad, followed my yummy brownies and ice cream!

We bought the Just Dance game for the Wii and Palo loves it! It's been a fun inside activity since it's SO hot outside!

And then when she gets really bored, she'll fish in the toilet. I caught her leaning over the toilet, splashing in the water with a tampon applicator(clean one of course)!

(July 15)

The picture's explain it all! She got a hold of the baby powder and went to town! It ended up getting all over the place, but at least our house smelled good, right?!

(July 3-4)

We headed to the cabin for Fourth of July again this year. It was nice to relax and enjoy some cool air. Palo LOVED it up their, and had the time of her life with her uncles. She wrestled, sang songs, danced, and laughed her little heart out, and even managed to pet the dogs a couple times...

...then she had fun swinging on the swing!

Palo couldn't stay off of grandpa's coffee table. It was the perfect height for her to climb on and off of...again, loved the attention. Overall we had a great weekend!

I cannot express how blessed I am to have such AMAZING men in my life Truly, truly BLESSED. My husband Misi is incredible. He has the most sweet spirit, and amazing personality. He is extremely patient, especially with me. He has SO many talents, has a good heart, works hard at everything, takes care of Palo and I, and has always been an example to me. Misi is always positive. He can take a bad situation and always find something good from it. I can always count on him to make me laugh or put a smile on my face. I don't know what I would do without him. I love him SO much and couldn't be happier that he is the father of my children! Love you! Happy Father's Day.

My dad has always been there for me. I'm always going to him for advice! He's on of the most honest, hard working men I've ever met. He is always putting his family first, and making sure our needs are met. He has been a huge support in my life and someone I wouldn't be able to live without! He loves his family, is very funny and likes to joke around, and especially loves when we're all together having fun! My dad is also a big example to me. I love you lots dad! Thanks for everything!!

A Little Up-date

Palo is a couple days shy of turning 17 months! She has definitely grown up SO much this past little while that I thought I should jot it down before I forget! She has also been teething this past week (top molars are coming in) so we've been a bit cranky around here lately. Thankfully it doesn't last long! Here are a few of her favorite signs. She's signs for a lot of things now, but these are the most used:

-Eat, water, please, thank you, more, baby, done, and ball.

Words she says:

-Mom, dad, nanna, pappa, ball, Palo, thank you, no, don't, apple, wa wa(for water)...to name a few.

Lately she has loved looking at pictures of herself. She'll bring us our phones or point the computer and say, 'Palo, Palo' wanting us to show her herself. She still a dancer. She loves spending time outside and swimming. She has a full on sprint, will do push-ups, sit-ups, and now does burpee's hmm...She will catch a football and throw it back. She loves her dolly and carries it everywhere. Palo also loves playing with her dishes and will bring us food to eat (pretend of course). She is such a talker and will mumble just about anything she can...especially when talking on the phone! Books have become a lot more interesting and we end up reading brown bear and Alice the Fairy over and over again. Her feet keep growing, too...she's already to a size 7 in toddlers.

What a JOY Palo is to us. There is never a dull moment and I couldn't be more proud to be her mamma!!

Pool Time

This is what we did after pool time... had a bubble bath!

Thank goodness Palo's a water baby! Sure makes is easy for me. Palo will now jump off the side of the pool, blow bubbles in the water, and kick her feet!

We have a hard time getting her out :)

Memorial Day Weekend

(May 28-31)

We had a fun and busy weekend! Friday and Saturday were filled with hanging out with the family and swimming! Sunday, Wes and Tiff blessed their baby boy, Jakston. It was a very neat blessing and we just love the little guy to death! Tiff's brother Jared also had his homecoming, and what an amazing young man he is! His talk was so inspiring-I was in tears the entire time! We had a wonderful lunch/dinner and the Miller's after the blessing and the food was VERY good! Monday Misi had to work, so Palo and I headed over to my moms for more swimming and lounging. We ended up having a BBQ later on that night! (pictures coming)

Yesterday (June 2) we ended up taking Palo into the doctor. She had a fever over 100, and her breathing was rapid, runny nose, and a nasty cough. The doctor informed us her body was beginning to develop Pneumonia. Yikes! Thank goodness for anti-biotics and our nebulizer. I felt very lucky that we decided to take her in immediately this time, rather then wait and let the condition become worse. Today Palo is feeling much better. Still breathing hard and a slight fever. She woke up around 130 last night, flew out of bed and started playing with her toys and wanting to read books! I was so grateful she was beginning to feel better...until 4:00 rolled around and I still couldn't get her to sleep! :) Good thing we love her so dang much!
