Rain=Flood

June 15, 2012
Sunday after church we headed out to my mom's for the usual Sunday dinner. Not long after we ate and cleaned up it started to rain.  It was a steady rain at first but then it really started to come down! We all went outside and watched, loving every second of it. We wandered back inside and Mykelle and I started to make Carmel Popcorn. We were looking out the windows when all of a sudden I noticed it had started to hail. So I started yelling "It's hailing! Everyone run outside!" My brothers are hilarious and start running all over the house, grabbing buckets and pans, and were outside within seconds catching the hail. Kallan at one point came running outside with a football helmet and a stick and was swinging at the ice. Hilarious. We should be red-necks. Not long after this major down-pout were the streets flooded with water. It was crazy to see the force of water running down the streets. Don't worry, my brothers were in their bathing suits and floaties ready to swim down the streets. It was pretty awesome. It doesn't rain here much, so when it does we have to enjoy every second of it! Paalo was so happy and loved the rain. She kept telling us how happy she was. It was fun to see her running and playing and having fun!

On our way home from moms the girls knocked out....too much fun playing in the rain!

After we got home later that night we did Family Night. Paalo was singing her song, and Tali thought she had to be right next to her.

paalo

June 28, 2012
Paalo is 3 1/2 now, and so full of life. She is now very independent and enjoys doing just about everything on her own...like getting herself dressed. She came out  looking like this; everything backwards. I love days like this. Paalo has grown so much it amazes me. She is my little shadow. I have to admit she is a mini-me. Scares me to death. She has a bit of a temper but is very kind. She says things to people that I say to her and Tali...not always good! She is Tali's second mom. Always there to help me out when I need her, helping with Tali on a daily basis and enjoying it. She likes to pick Tali up and carry her around. Paalo even lets Tali sit and smack her (we are trying to teach Tali not to hit) but Paalo always says, 'It's ok mom she can hit me.'
Paalo LOVES to sing. She can sing just about any song and she isn't afraid to belt it out.
We have loved having summer here and days at the swimming pool. Paalo was born to swim.
Paalo also loves to dance. She is finally at the age where she picks up certain movement. She is really into doing the hula right now!
Paalo is very protective of ME. She doesn't like it when people get mad at me. Or if I start to wrestle with my brothers she gets really nervous and usually starts yelling and hitting whoever it is I am playing with. Yep, she's got my back all the time.
Paalo has a lot of sass to her and has her moments where you wanna scream but she is truly a gem in our home. She is so full of light and always reminding us how we need to pray or read our scriptures; wanting us to be better people. I am so grateful everyday that she is our daughter!

My girls love to shower. They could play in it all day. Tali had figured out how much she loves to lay down now. Cute little bums!

We headed up to the cabin to enjoy a little get away with the family. The kids had fun running around and playing, while us older kids enjoyed a competitive games of horse shoes. I love going to the cabin. The weather is perfect, and it's always so nice to be in the peaceful mountains and forget about everything but your family.

 I had to come home early Wednesday morning to get home in time for the Dixie State Volleyball camp. It ended up being an awesome camp this year and I was so happy to be apart of it! Here are a few pictures of the girls visiting me!

Sadly enough the girls didn't feel too good while I was at camp. Tali was teething and Paalo just wasn't 100% either. So they got lots of rest and watched movies with dad.
